Booking terms
Porto Nativo, Domilijina 1, 1. kat, 21000 Split, Croatia will be hereinafter referred to as Porto Nativo.
Booking rates
The following booking rates may be available for direct reservation with Porto Nativo:
- Non-refundable rate.
- Flexible rate.
Above rates may appear on Porto Nativo’s website https://portonativo.com as rates per night per room. Porto Nativo reserves the right to update these rates at any time. Updates will be applicable to subsequent reservations.
Non-refundable rate
Payment. Full reservation amount is required to book and is payable upon making the booking directly with Porto Nativo, including but not limited to bookings on https://portonativo.com. Payment on https://portonativo.com is via online secure payment and may be charged to the provided payment card.
Cancellation by the guest. In case of cancellation by the guest, the amount paid is not refundable.
No-show or early departure. In case of no-show or early departure, the amount paid is not refundable. Also, the booking (or its remainder), will be cancelled automatically.
The above terms for the non-refundable rate apply unless otherwise stated on Porto Nativo’s website https://portonativo.com or agreed in writing with Porto Nativo.
Flexible rate
Payment. Full reservation amount is required to book and is payable upon making the booking directly with Porto Nativo, including but not limited to bookings on https://portonativo.com. Payment on https://portonativo.com is via online secure payment and may be charged to the provided payment card.
Cancellation by the guest. In case of cancellation by the guest:
- If a cancellation is made earlier than 7 days prior to the arrival date, then a full reimbursement of the amount paid will be made.
- If a cancellation is made 7 days prior to the arrival date or later, then the full reservation amount is due and the amount paid is not refundable.
No-show or early departure. In case of no-show or early departure, the amount paid is not refundable. Also, the booking (or its remainder), will be cancelled automatically.
The above terms for the flexible rate apply unless otherwise stated on Porto Nativo’s website https://portonativo.com or agreed in writing with Porto Nativo.
Cancellation by the guest: contact details and other terms.
Should a guest wish to cancel their booking, a written cancellation request shall be sent by email to Porto Nativo on split@portonativo.com.
In case of cancellation by the guest, the cancellation policy of the reserved booking rate shall apply. Upon cancellation, the reservation is cancelled for all guests in the reservation. Upon cancellation, the room/s cancelled will be made available again for bookings immediately.
No different cancellation terms apply if cancellation is due to the guest/s affected by Covid-19.
Cancellation by Porto Nativo
Porto Nativo reserves the right to cancel any reservation, due to unavailability or situations out of Porto Nativo’s control. In this case, the guest whose reservation is cancelled will be entitled to a full reimbursement of the amount paid, unless agreed otherwise with Porto Nativo.
Porto Nativo may cancel any booking in case the guest violates Porto Nativo’s Terms and Conditions (see Terms and Conditions), these Booking terms or is in breach of the applicable law. In these cases, the guest whose reservation is cancelled shall not be entitled to any reimbursements or any other compensations. For example, a booking will be cancelled if payment details provided by the guest are wrong or invalid.
Online payment
Porto Nativo works with an affiliate Secure Payment Provider, for online payment.
All amounts may be charged in HRK (Croatian kuna) or EUR (Euro), notwithstanding the currency shown on the booking engine at https://portonativo.com. Currency conversion exchange rates, which are out of Porto Nativo’s control, may apply. In addition, bank fees, which are also out of Porto Nativo’s control, may apply. This may result in a slight variation of the final amount charged, with respect to the due amount shown on the booking engine at https://portonativo.com. The payer waives the right to claim to Porto Nativo any compensation and/or cancellation of the reservation, due to this amount variation.

Booking confirmation
A booking is not considered as such until Porto Nativo confirms and approves the reservation by email.
Guest data is required in order to make and confirm a reservation, including but not limited to: full names of guests, email, phone number, country, valid credit card information, etc.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in time is from 14:00 (2 PM). Early check-in may be possible depending on availability. Early check-in must be requested to Porto Nativo at least two (2) days prior to the arrival date.
Check-out time is up to 11:00 (11 AM).
No-show
No-show is considered when no arrival is registered before 23:00 (11:00 PM), Split time, on the booked day of arrival, and an alternative arrival time/date had not been previously notified and agreed on with Porto Nativo.
Occupancy
Each Porto Nativo room may be occupied by up to two persons. An additional infant may be accommodated at no additional cost, but this must be agreed with Porto Nativo at least five (5) days prior to the arrival date.
At least one of the guests must be 18 years old or older, i.e. main guest.
Pets
In order to protect our allergic guests, pets are not allowed.
Dates of operation
Porto Nativo remains operational during the dates specified in the booking engine available at https://portonativo.com. For accommodation outside of these dates, please contact Porto Nativo.
House rules & terms
Porto Nativo facilities are for the access and use of Porto Nativo guests (and persons appointed by Porto Nativo), only. No visitors are allowed. A Porto Nativo guest is such if all of the following are met: (1) they have booked their stay on one of the valid booking channels and Porto Nativo has confirmed their booking; (2) they have provided (no later than the check-in time) relevant and valid guest information as requested by Porto Nativo, in order to register them with the Croatian Government (eVisitor registry); and, (3) they have been registered upon check-in. Failure to provide with the necessary relevant and valid information to successfully accomplish the eVisitor registration shall be considered a breach of the booking conditions (including these House rules and terms). According to the Croatian law, this shall impede Porto Nativo from offering any accommodation, notwithstanding it was previously booked and/or paid for (or partially paid for). In this case, the full reservation shall be payable, Porto Nativo shall not be liable for any compensation and guests may be subject to an additional charge.
Guests agree that Porto Nativo facilities is for private use, only. If a stay will have a commercial value or character, then this must be communicated to Porto Nativo in advance of the reservation. Porto Nativo may agree to this type of reservation, under special dedicated conditions.
Porto Nativo guests are required to conduct themselves in a polite and responsible manner with themselves, other Porto Nativo guests and neighbours. Guests are responsible for their own behaviour in the Porto Nativo factilities, including the building common areas and surrounding areas. In case of accident or actions derived from conflict with other guests or neighbours, guests shall bear all consequences. Any guest injuries sustained inside the Porto Nativo facilities are not covered by the Porto Nativo insurance.
Porto Nativo guests may not disturb other Porto Nativo guests and neighbours. No unruly behaviour is accepted.
No loud noise, music or discussions in the Porto Nativo rooms are allowed between 22:00 (10 PM) and 10:00 (10 AM).
No parties are allowed in the Porto Nativo facilities, including the building common areas.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the entire Porto Nativo facilities, incl. building common areas. Smoke detectors are installed in all relevant areas. Failure to comply with Porto Nativo’s smoking policy may incur a fine and the termination of the accommodation.
Guests may not introduce any weapons, explosives, flammable materials or any other unsafe materials in the Porto Nativo facilities. Failure to comply with this policy may incur a fine and the termination of the accommodation.
Guests are liable for any damage or loss caused to Porto Nativo property by themselves or their companions. An additional charge may be incurred, for the repair, fix, cleaning, replacement, etc. as a result to any damage or loss caused, or if Porto Nativo property goes missing. This includes towels, linen, furniture, appliances, decorations, etc. Towels are not suited for use external to Porto Nativo facilities, including but not limited to beach use. Use of the towels external to the Porto Nativo facilities is specifically prohibited. External use of the Porto Nativo towels, including but not limited to beach use, will be subject to an additional charge for the cleaning or replacement of the towels.
Porto Nativo is not responsible nor liable for any loss or damage to the property or valuables of guests during their stay. Likewise, Porto Nativo is not responsible nor liable for any loss of profit or loss of business.
Guests are responsible for maintaining a good level of cleanliness during their stay, and for using the provided bins for their disposables.
The supply wardrobe is locked, and not for the use of guests.
Our accommodation has sensitive plumbing, therefore it is prohibited to flush any personal hygiene or sanitary products down the WC. Dedicated trash bins are placed in the bathroom for this purpose.
It is not allowed to hang any items, including clothes, outside the property.
Guests shall use the Porto Nativo WiFi networks responsibly. Porto Nativo shall not be held responsible for any use to the WiFi that guests may carry out. Porto Nativo shall not be held liable if the WiFi networks are temporarily unavailable or work intermittently. In particular, Porto Nativo shall not be held liable for any consequential or indirect damage, including but not limited to any loss of profit or business, in connection with Porto Nativo’s WiFi. Porto Nativo shall not be held liable for any illegal or illegitimate activities carried out via Porto Nativo’s WiFi networks.
Access to electric panels is reserved to Porto Nativo and may only be accessed by guests if previously agreed with Porto Nativo. Guests may also access the electrical panels at their own risk, in case this is required to avoid damage to the property (or its contents); or to avoid personal injuries or life-threatening situations.
In case of need of evacuation, Evacuation Plans, found next to each room door, may be followed by the guests.
In the unlikely event of a power outage, the Porto Nativo facility has a dedicated power supply source. For the safety and convenience of Porto Nativo guests, this power source will keep some selected items working for a few hours, e.g. door electric locks, WiFi network, etc. Porto Nativo guests have the responsibility to save on power, in order to have the dedicated power source running for as long as possible. Power outages are out of Porto Nativo’s control, therefore Porto Nativo shall not be held liable under any circumstance in case they occur. In particular, guests waive the right to claim any compensation to Porto Nativo in case of such events, or in case the dedicated power source does not work or stops working.
Guests are responsible for properly locking all doors when leaving the Porto Nativo property, and from inside during their stay. Guests are also responsible for closing all windows and switching off all lights, air conditioning device, TV, etc., when leaving the room. Likewise, guests are responsible to turn off all taps.
Latest check-out time is 11:00 (11 AM). Housekeeping is scheduled to arrive shortly after the check-out time, which must therefore be observed. Late check-out fees may apply in case the check-out time is not observed.
Porto Nativo may enter the rooms during a guest stay, in order to accommodate them and service our guests. Such event may happen at any time, but it may be expected any given day between 11:00 (11 AM) and 16:00 (4 PM).
Porto Nativo (including appointed persons) may enter any room without any previous notice, if there is a risk of damage or danger to the property or guests.
- Porto Nativo (including appointed persons) may enter any room for the purposes of repair and inspection. Porto Nativo will exercise its right to enter in a reasonable manner and advise guests beforehand when possible.
Failure to comply
Failure to comply with these Booking terms may impede or terminate the guest accommodation immediately. In that case, Porto Nativo will not be liable for any compensation and guests may be subject to an additional charge.
Booking terms updates
Porto Nativo reserves the right to implement updates to these booking terms. Updates will be published on https://portonativo.com, placed at the Porto Nativo facilities or communicated directly. Any published or communicated booking terms updates will be binding immediately.
